The proposed antenna has the capability to work in the frequency range of 3.1-10.6 GHz with and without notched-band. To achieve the reconfigurability of a rejected band, a PIN diode is inserted in the middle length of inverted II-shaped slot. The ON/OFF states of the PIN diode can change the antenna performance. The presented antenna is designed on Teflon substrate of dielectric constant 2.5 with loss tangent of 0.002. Good performance regarding reflection coefficient, gain and radiation patterns are presented and discussedenInverted II-shaped slotPIN DiodeReconfigurable antennaUltra-widebandWLANReconfigurable UWB monopole antenna with WLAN Band-Notch characteristicArticle
