Item Design and simulation of micro-phasor measurement units(2022) Bourabha, Nassim; Assam, Imade Eddine; Ouadi, A. (supervisor)Synchrophasor technology has made it possible to continually check on the condition of power system networks in the Wide Area Measurement System (WAMS) and more recently in the distribution section (which needs more phasor measurement units accuracy and precision). The phasor measurement unit can be used either as a standalone device for simple measurements or as multiple ones that are spread out geographically (small and wide area) and play a signifi cant role in measerement(Wide Area Measerement System) , control (Wide Area Suppelemntary Conrol) and protection (Wide Area Protection) of the power system networks in real time as well as providing time-stamped measurements of voltage and current phasors in just microseconds. to keep the healthy and fault-free power system network in place. Phasor measurement units may employ the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) some in classical pmu(P-class) which may be improved to satisfy the requirements accuracy in the IEEE.standard c37-118to estimate the phasor. In this project, the sampling rate and quantization resolution effect have been included in our measurement algorithm. These parameters have been increased and simulated, and the obtained results show improvements in the requested accuracy.Item WEB based delivery system with with aotomatic dispatching using PLC(2022) Bakhouche, Romeissa; Brahimi, Feriel; Ouadi, A. (supervisor)Delivery services play an important role for people wishing to send packages to a diff erent location without having to go through the hardship of traveling for long distances. With their help, people can send and receive a package safely and in a short period of time. Another aspect where delivery services are vital is in e-commerce businesses because a good delivery management is the foundation of its success. Our project is a realization of a delivery service agency where we fi rst designed and implemented an automatic package sorting system based on a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that makes use of barcode technology for the identifi cation of diff erent packages, which was extremely useful not only for the sorting process but also for the automatic updating of the database. We have also developed a web-based application that shows all the features and services our agency has to off er for its customers which was carried out using the standard method for object-oriented (analysis and design) modeling language, Unifi ed Modelling Language (UML). As for its implementation, we have used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the front-end, PHP and MYSQL for the back- end.
