It explores the role of entrepreneurs within local and national contexts, emphasizing their contribution to economic development, innovation, and value creation. By integrating theoretical foundations with practical applications, the course equips learners with the skills necessary to analyse business opportunities, understand entrepreneurial ecosystems, and engage in the creation and management of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Targeted primarily at Master’s students in Management Sciences but equally relevant to learners across diverse disciplines. The course highlights the interdisciplinary nature of entrepreneurship and its relevance to career development. Key components of the program include the study of entrepreneurial characteristics, business model development, financing mechanisms, and the function of incubators in supporting emerging ventures. Additionally, students gain practical experience through tools such as the Business Model Canvas and business planning frameworks. By examining the entrepreneurial landscape in Algeria, the course helps students understand real-world challenges and opportunities, building the mindset and competencies required to transform ideas into sustainable ventures. Ultimately, this course contributes to fostering an entrepreneurial culture grounded in creativity, innovation, and informed risk-taking.
