Item Adsorption of copper (ii) from aqueous solutions on antimony pillar/clay composite(Aljest, 2015) Cherifi, H .; Bougherara, S.; Louhab, K.The separation of copper from aqueous systems is studied for environmental protection. In this paper was studied the elimination of cooper from dilute aqueous solution by adsorption on a crude and chemical modified clays (pillared layers clays). The kinetics study of the adsorption of copper on the modified clay showed that equilibrium is reached after 60 mn. A high adsorption performance was recorded for the following optimum conditions at the temperature T = 25°C and the solid/liquid ratio = 2, Initial concentration of ion Cu2+ =40 mg /L, the amount of adsorbent clay = 800 mg, pH = 6Item Biosorption of Cr (III) from aqueous solutions using bacterium biomass Streptomyces rimosus(2009) Sahmoune, Mohamed Nasser; Louhab, K.; Boukhiar, A.Item Kinetic and equilibrium models for the biosorption of Cr(III) on streptomyces rimosus(Taylor & Francis, 2009) Sahmoune, Mohamed Nasser; Louhab, K.; Boukhiar, A.; Addad, J.; Barr, S.Item Kinetic analysis of trivalent chromium biosorption by dead streptomyces rimosus biomass(2010) Sahmoune, Mohamed Nasser; Louhab, K.Item Kinetics and thermodynamics of cr ions sorption on mixed sorbents prepared from olive stone and date pit from aqueous solution(2012) Aksas, Hammouche; Boureghda, M.Z.; Babaci, Hakima; Louhab, K.Item Effect of calcium competition on chromium adsorption by fungi biomass(2006) Louhab, K.; Sahmoune, Mohamed Nasser; Addad, J.; Bar, S.The kinetics and thermodynamic of adsorption of a mono-solute of chromium ions and of a bi-solute of chromium and calcium ions by fungi biomass (Streptomycine rimosus) was investigated in a batch system. The experimental data were analyzed based by Langmuir isotherm and a Pseudo second order mechanism, in the both the mono-and bi-solute adsorption systems, in order to predict the rate constant of adsorption, the equilibrium capacity. The results indicate that the adsorption mechanism is described by Langmuir isotherm and a Pseudo-second-order. The equilibrium adsorption capacity and the equilibrium rate constant increased with an increase in the initial chromium concentration in both mono-and bi-solute adsorption systems. The adsorption capacity of chromium decreased with an increase in calcium concentration
