dc.description.abstract | The Conventional power system is mostly based on fossil fuel power plants. The latter is a huge source of pollution while its primary energy, fossil fuel, is being quickly depleted. However, certain isolated loads and communities cannot profit from this electric energy for the reason that there is no network. Hybrid renewable energy systems have demonstrated to have a marvelous scope in the coming future. The purpose of this project is to propose a hybrid energy system to supply the electricity demand dependably and sustainably for an off-grid remote drilling site in Adrar. The suggested system is constituted of a Photovoltaic source, wind turbine, diesel generator, battery storage, and hydrogen system. The simulation is done using HOMER software to identify the optimal HRES loices by considering techno-economic criteria. | en_US |
