| dc.description.abstract | This thesis provides a study and development planar microwave filters. The difficulties of using planar technology for microwave filters are discussed and the main design problems are presented with some solutions especially for the multi-passband filters. Some new dual passband filters are designed in this thesis. The suggested designs were developed and validated experimentally.
