In this work, the use of concave rectangular patches is proposed in the aim of reducing mutual coupling without increasing the occupation surface of antennas. The introduction of the curvatures in the radiating edges and slots in the non-radiating edges has suppressed the mutual coupling between the elements of the structure containing a pilot with a parasitic. This technique is applied with separation between elements very small as compared to the operating wavelength and the global dimensions of the patches comparable to those without modifications operating at the same frequency. Furthermore, the proposed method does not affect the radiation patterns except some deviation of the maximum radiation direction from the broadside.en_US
