dc.description.abstractThe DC motor is an attractive equipment in electrical drives requiring variable speed and load characteristics. It provides high torques and speed variation in two directions of rotation. The speed control of direct current (DC) motor for various applications is very important. Thus, to have an automatic speed regulation, a feedback from the armature current or/and the speed ( tacho-generator’s voltage ) of the motor is required.In this project, a design and implementation of variable speed regulation of a DC motor drive system have been attempted using PWM control and H-Bridge converter in a closed loop system. This concept of speed control is proved to be efficient through the accomplished simulation and implementation.en_US
