This work is devoted to studying the effect of volumetric gas radiation on mixed double-diffusive convection in a lid-driven square cavity. The vertical walls are maintained at different uniform temperatures and concentration gradients in cooperating flow. The horizontal walls are thermally insulated and impermeable to mass transfer. All the walls are assumed to be opaque, diffuse and gray. The top wall moves to the right side at a constant velocity. The cavity is filled with gray gas mixture considered as an absorbing, emitting and not scattering medium. The governing flow equations are solved by a finite volume method. The radiative transfer equation is modeled by discrete ordinates method. Results were presented in the form of isotherms, iso-concentrations, velocity profiles and heat and mass transfer for various values of Richardson number (Ri), Buoyancy ration (N) and optical thicknessen_US
