Abstract
This Work consists of four chapters organized as follows: Chapter I, we provide an overview of the Tiguentourine s gas treatment complex operated by the tree companies (Sonatrach, Eni and Equinor) focusing on the raw gas transformation through its central processing facilities and to finally jumping into the gas turbine fundamentals. Chapter II: we present the gas turbine generator 5002D, its component and operational loop detailing the turbine lubricating oil cooling subsystem and its important role in maintaining the turbine efficiency and extending the operational life and reliability to the turbine mechanical components. Chapter III: we will explore the Mark Vie’s hardware presenting its whole architecture, including its components and communications networks then the software environment, including the engineering tools and configuration capabilities that enable advanced monitoring, control, and diagnostics of the gas turbine generator and its auxiliary systems. Chapter IV: this chapter presents the proposed technical solution, which consists of replacing the malfunctioning self-actuated valve with a controlled valve and integrating a PI controller. The selection process for the new valve was guided by system specifications and flow coefficient calculations. Adjustments to the MARK VIe logic were executed using ToolboxST, including the addition the necessary conditions. The new configuration was then simulated and validated to confirm proper functionality.
