Abstract
This Thesis aims to analyze the mechanisms of heat transfer and pressure losses in the shell and tubes heat exchangers, considering several geometric and operational parameters such as fluid flow rates, tube arrangements, and baffle configurations. The objective is to propose potential improvements that could enhance thermal efficiency while minimizing energy losses and hydrodynamic constraints.
