Abstract

background and practical implementation of DTC and MPTC. Special emphasis is placed on the challenges of applying these techniques to FSTPI due to its reduced number of switching vectors. To overcome these challenges, a virtual vector-based strategy is developed. The simulation results obtained using MATLAB/Simulink demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control schemes in reducing torque ripple, improving dynamic response, and enchancing overall system performance. The finding confirm the viability of four-switch inverter-based motor drives for applications requiring reduced hardware cost without compromising performance.
