dc.description.abstractIn this paper, a novel and low profile CPW-Fed triple-band microstrip antenna for wireless applications is proposed. The proposed antenna is implemented on FR4-Epoxy dielectric substrate with dimensions of 24×40 mm 2 and generates three desired resonant frequencies at about 2.44 GHz, 3.56 GHz and 5-6 GHz for WLAN and WiMAX applications. Numerical results for the return loss and 2D radiation patterns of the antenna are presented. Good agreement between measured and simulated results is achieved. The obtained results represent that the proposed antenna with good performances can be suitable for various applications such as future developed technologies and handheld devicesen_US
