Design and implementation of a web -based application to manage students ' grades.

Abstract

The aim of this project is to create an interactive web application dedicated to the management of students' evaluation in our institute. This web application makes it possible to facilitate the work of the members of the administration and teachers by automating the management of students in promotions and groups, assigning teachers to courses, gradessubmission, semestrial and annual results, and the users' roles. To improve the students' evaluation process, this project goal is to analyze the current processes and situations in students' evaluation and determine the possible areas of improvement. This work has been carried out using the modelling language, Unified Modelling Language (UML), for designing the application. As for the implementation, we have chosen to develop the application with NodeJS, MongoDB as the Database Management System (DBMS), and ReactJs for creating user interfaces.
