dc.description.abstractIn this work, Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) is applied to the elliptical and concentric elliptical antenna arrays to minimize the Side lobe and to improve the directivity. GWO is a nature-inspired meta-heuristic algorithm inspired by the social hierarchy and hunting behavior of grey wolves. The obtained optimal values result in a good reduction of the side lobe level for the elliptical and concentric elliptical antenna arrays with an enhancement in the directivity. This makes the designed arrays of practical use in the communication systems.en_US
