Abstract
This paper examines developing and implementing a robust communication protocol designed for
real-time monitoring and control of battery systems. The implemented system gathers critical data from the
battery, including voltage, current, and State of Charge (SoC). This data is transmitted to a Raspberry Pi
microcontroller at five-second intervals. The Raspberry Pi serves as an intermediary, forwarding the data to a
dedicated webpage for visualization and analysis. Furthermore, the data is stored in an InfluxDB database,
facilitating long-term storage and utilization. This database supports the generation of graphical representations,
thereby enhancing the interpretation of battery performance trends and enabling informed decision-making
regarding battery management strategies. The comprehensive nature of this system provides real-time insights
into battery health and performance, ensuring effective monitoring and control across various applications.
