This study presents a method of making ceramic cell bricks based on three types of Algerian kaolin which were obtained from different regions. Kaolin DD3 from "Djebel Debbagh" in eastern Algeria, kaolin KT from the "Tabelbala" site of Bechar in the western Sahara in Algeria and kaolin KB from "Boudouaou" site in the central region of Algeria . The elaboration of ceramic cellular bricks based on the creation of the cellular structure at room temperature, from a slip, prepared by mixing clay materials, a foaming agent and water. The solidification was carried out at room temperature by adding an inorganic binder which allows the transformation of the expanded suspension into a rigid body after drying. The heat treatment of bricks based on DD3 kaolin, KT kaolin, and KB kaolin, at 1100, 1100 and 900 ° C, respectively for 2 hours, consolidates this cellular structure to have interconnected ceramic cellular materials with good pore distribution. The pore volume and cell size are exclusively controlled by the volume of foam generated. The porosity ranges from 60 to 90% of the total volume of the material, with the cell size ranging from 0.01mm to 1mm. The approach followed for the development of cellular ceramic materials has clearly enabled us to predict the density and volume of pore with acceptable precisionen_US
