Abstract

Cloud computing is an adaptive model that provides resources to end-users. This model moves many organizations to develop open-source cloud computing solutions. This article surveys popular open-source cloud computing platforms such as Eucalyptus, OpenNebula, Nimbus, Xen Cloud, and AbiCloud. These well-known cloud platforms can help researchers to choose the appropriate platform for their environments. For more illustration, a comparative study is given according to their architecture
