dc.description.abstractThis work suggests the design of a dual-band bandpass filter (BPF) based on metamaterial triangular split ring cell. The proposed structure is designed using CST software . It is found that the suggested structure is developed to have two passbands at central frequencies 3.5 GHz and 5.8 GHz intended for WiMAX communication system. The design was performed in FR4 substrate with relative dielectric constant of 4.3, thickness of 1.63 mm and a dialectic loss tangent of 0.017 , the software used is CST microwave studio ..en_US
