dc.description.abstractCOVID-19 was quickly designated as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization as there have been about 98.0 million confirmed cases and about 2.0 million confirmed deaths, as of January 2021. In this study, we have gone through different characteristics of the virus, and the tools used on data analysis and representation, for a better understanding of sars-cov-2. NGS showed a major role on identifying the nucleotide sequence of it ARN; the results were shared on the genomic platforms for scientific research purposes. Based on the data available on Gisaid, we carried out a phylogenic analysis of Algerian sars-cov2, by which we were able to diagram our data , and understand more about the origin of sars-cov-2 in Algeria.en_US
